calibre is a e-book library management application. It is free, open source and cross-platform in design and works on Linux, OSX and Windows. calibre is meant to be a complete e-library solution and thus includes, library management, format conversion, news feeds to ebook conversion as well as e-book reader sync features. Getting Started
Usage
- Windows: An icon to launch the GUI will have been added to the start menu and the Desktop.
- OS X: You can launch the GUI by clicking on the App.
- Linux: Icons to launch the GUI are installed into the menu. It can also be started by the command calibre.
A good place to look for help is the User Manual. If you dont find answers there, you can always ask for help. A good first place is the calibre forum at mobileread.com. There are a number of knowledgeable people there who could answer your questions. If you want to talk to the developers of calibre, use the Forums. There is also a Tips And Tricks section.
